MOVIE 1: LAGOS BOYS

MOVIE CRITIC: LAWUNMI

This hilarious comedy is about a favor gone wrong. If you have ever done a friend a favor and had it backfire this movie is for you. It will keep you on the edge of your seat with laughter. Although some of the concepts are a bit stupid it still does not take away from the comedy. The movie is about a guy who lives in Lagos and later on takes on his two long time friends from the village. They move in with him and from then on turn his life upside down. Rating is B+.

MOVIE 2: KEEPING FAITH

One of the best Nigerian movies I have watch in a while. This romantic drama is about a girl who lost all faith in love until unexpectedly she finds true love. Due to her past, her state of confusion leads her to do things that would test the power of love. Will love prevail? Well watch and find out. Rating is A-

MOVIE 3: OYATO

Drama unfolds before your eyes in this suspenseful movie starting Omotola Jalade. Well written and properly directed Oyato is a Yoruba movie that stands out. This movie will surely keep you guessing as to what is next and guarantee is that you may not guess right. Oyato is subtitles and highly recommended if you have not seen a good Nigerian movie in a long while. Rating is A.

MOVIE 4: BREAK UP

MOVIE CRITIC: TONI

ACTORS: Genevive Nnnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Pat Attah

First and foremost the producers, directors and writers of this movie should be given five lashes of the cane for even attempting to market this movie. A very bad knockoff of the American movie "Two can play that game" The script had minor changes done to it. It got to a point where we were predicting what would happen next. Originality gets 0 points, creativity gets 0 points, as a matter of fact the whole movie gets 0 points. Next time they should come up with their own story line instead of knocking of an existing one and making it suck... I give this movie a big fat F
